Hus 46+ site extension

Abel Homes is responding to spiralling demand for new homes by announcing a site extension Watton.

Abel Homes, which is based in Watton, is already building 83 highly-sustainable homes on its hus46+ site off Norwich Road, but now it has announced plans to build a further 18 two- and three-bedroom houses on an adjacent site.

“We are seeing considerable demand for new homes, and particularly two- and three-bedroom houses, driven both by the sustained upturn in the economy, and by the continued success of the Help To Buy scheme, which is enabling first time buyers to get onto the ladder, and families to move on up from their first homes,” said managing director Tony Abel.

“Our hus46+ site in Watton has been a huge success, and we are selling pretty much every home before it is completed - so there is clearly a demand for quality, energy-efficient new homes in the town.  As at our existing site, the new homes at The Stables will be attractively  designed, combining aesthetically pleasing looks with modern, energy-efficient features such as photo-voltaic solar panels and high levels of insulation.”
