Six New Homes Released At In-Demand Site In Swaffham

Six new homes have been released for ‘early-bird’ reservation at a sought-after site in Swaffham – the last new homes on the current phase of the site.

Norfolk-based Abel Homes has released the six two-, three- and four-bedroom homes at Swan’s Nest in Swaffham.  The six houses are situated opposite a large open green space which features trees, a pond and an equipped play area.

The homes now released for reservation consist of two two-bedroom semi-detached houses with garage, three three-bedroom houses with garage, and a spacious four-bedroom detached house with double garage.

The homes can be secured with an ‘early-bird’ £1,000 deposit, which is refundable if the buyer decides not to proceed at the point where the homes are finally released.  They are scheduled for completion in spring next year.

All the new homes are being built to a very high specification of energy-efficiency, with solar photovoltaic panels, triple glazing and underfloor heating to the ground floor.  Each new home boasts an EPC rating of ‘A’ – the most energy-efficient band.

The new homes also come with fitted appliances, garages with electric doors, BT fibre broadband to the premises, and floor coverings included throughout.

Swan’s Nest, on the south side of the town adjacent to Brandon Road, has seen high levels of demand since the site was first launched in 2015.  Abel Homes last month started work on the fifth and final phase of the site, which will see a further 105 family homes built alongside the 319 in Phases One to Four – of which these six homes are the last release.

“Such has been the tremendous demand for homes at Swan’s Nest, that we have taken the decision to release these final six homes earlier than anticipated on an ‘early-bird’ basis.  This gives proceedable buyers the opportunity to secure one of our last new homes on this phase,” said Clare Cornish, sales manager at Abel Homes.
