Abel Homes Proud To Support Dereham Day

Abel Homes was proud to support the Dereham Day event which took place on 10th May.

The annual celebration of the community spirit and heritage of the town saw over 80 stalls run by a variety of charities, local groups, crafters and businesses, hosted by Dereham Neatherd High School.

Abel Homes sponsored the Family Petting Area, where children (and their adults!) could get hands-on with a range of cuddly and furry creatures.

The firm has a close connection with Dereham, with one of our earliest sites being at Lark's Meadow in the town.  We are currently building 216 energy-efficient family homes at The Carriages, on Swanton Road, on the northeast edge of Dereham.

Clare Cornish, sales and marketing manager, said, "We are very proud of our local roots, and getting involved with local communities is something we have always done.

"Dereham Day is a great initiative which brings people in the town together and instils a real sense of pride, and we are delighted to have been able to support the Day this year."
