First-Time Buyer Weekend At Dereham Site Coincides With Release Of Seven New Homes
A special first-time buyer event is being run this weekend by Norfolk house builder, Abel Homes, to coincide with the release of seven two and three-bedroom homes in Dereham. As well as being the first to discuss the new homes, those attending the event will also be able to receive fee-free mortgage advice from one of the town’s leading mortgage advisors.
The Abel Homes event will take place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th February at its The Carriages site on Swanton Road to the northeast of the town, where the firm is building EPC A Rated energy-efficient new homes.
Also attending will be advisors from Salus Mortgages, based in the Market Place in Dereham, who will be offering complimentary mortgage guidance and arrangement services for visitors to The Carriages this weekend.
The weekend will see the release of seven new homes on the site: two three-bedroom semi-detached houses, two two-bedroom semi-detached houses, and a small terrace of three two-bedroom houses. Prices range from £260,000 to £307,500.

All of the new homes at The Carriages have the top ‘A’ rating for energy efficiency, including features such as photo-voltaic solar panels, air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, triple glazing and high levels of insulation. Each home will also feature direct fibre broadband alongside an electric car charging point.
The new site will include public open spaces, including a multi-use games area, as well as a piece of public artwork commissioned from a local artist – something which Abel Homes has done on every site it has built since 2008.
